“The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you that you love, well, that’s just fabulous.”—Sex and the City
So as I mentioned in an earlier post my friend and I went to Webster Hall for an assignment of hers which required her to see an American artist. Me and her have totally different tastes in music but when she told me she bought tickets to Patrick Stump’s concert I instantly got excited, not only because Fall Out Boy was one of my favorite bands when I was in middle school but I was quite curious to see the new skinny Stump in person.
The end of Fall Out Boy has done wonders for him. Anyways he was actually really good which I was shocked because listening to his poppy music prior to the concert I was afraid I was not going to like him ( except for Spotlight of course), he is amazing live and I recommend if he is playing by you, get some tickets and check him out. To top everything off he seemed to throw a pick into my eye, it was painful but diving on the floor trying to find the little triangle that could have blinded me was very entertaining.
I AM SO JEALOUS THAT YOU GO TO FIT!! im 14 and I dream of one day going to FIT! how do you like going to school in NYC? What area of fashion are you studying?
Its amazing but different, you don’t get that college community because you live in NYC but there are so many things that really make up for it; New York Fashion Week, the opportunity to intern with some of the best names in the industry ,and the ability to get anything, anytime in this city that never sleeps are just a few.
Right now I am majoring in Fashion Merchandising Management which is not as glamorous as people think it is,its a lot of math, but i am focusing on the more creative aspect of it , product development.
I really hope it works out for you when you get older it really is an amazing school.
